Summary
Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She's stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family's corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary... until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.
Julietta's been burned before - and trusting her brother-in-law's friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

A little light reading
I like Jennifer Probst books.
the way she writes makes them light, funny and sad a good easy listen or read.
I have a few of her books and have not been disappointed with any of them.

Amazing sequence storyline
This book is by far the best of the series. The author outdid herself. Very touching to the point that it got me teary at times. A very heartfelt novel about two very strong characters coming together and dropping the barriers of self guard. A bit extra steamy than what we were used to by the author but not shocking.
I highly recommend it but leave it last if you haven't read already the previous ones. There are references to past events and characters from the previous novels.

Not as enjoyable as earlier books in series ...
But still an enjoyable read. The characters weren't as interesting as those in earlier books. I hate when I read a book that continually hint's at the hero's demons and then when they are finally revealed, they are anticlimactic. If the hero is going to be angst ridden for 3/4 of the book, there better be a damn good reason behind it when it is ultimately revealed.
But the author is a skilled writer. She moves the plot along briskly, she reminds you why you liked the returning characters that were introduced in previous books and even though the books are light on the realistic interpretation of the locale, she writes well enough that is forgiven.
Like the earlier books in the series, this is a quick fun read. The author's skill continues to be apparent and I still believe that with the right material she could be a seriously good author.
Narration is great. I don't fault the narrator that there was little to point the reader to the fact that the story took place in Italy and most of the characters were Italian. The author doesn't seem to acknowledge this in the writing.

Good listen but nothing special
Any additional comments?
This is a typical book. It's a good read but much like a cookie cutter... nothing special and predictable. I like that the character belonged to a big family that everyone has each other's back. I like that characters from previous book make appearance in this book. Is it worth a credit, maybe if you're desperate for something to listen to while on a long trip.

Expected
I think because I have the other 3 book in this series I felt that everything that happen in the book I expected it to happen. I just knew it was coming. I really wasn't surprised. I was a bit exhausted that it took so long for some events to happen. Zesh! It was good though.. Narration was great too... but Zesh...

Cute Love Story
Started out strong and was such a cute story overall however I kind of lost steam and interest at the very end of the book. Loved this one though, 4 stars!

Only read to get to #4
Wow - #2 and 3 in this series are devoted to exasperating and unlikely female characters. I only read this one to get to the fourth, and well, the hot scenes are well done.

Cute, Touching Romance
This was a cute little romance, with very poignant moments and a few intense love scenes. It's apparently a part of a series (and this is the final installment) but I didn't know that when I purchased it--how this happened, I don't know, but I wouldn't say this is a credit worthy book or series. It kept my interest but simply because I was curious and wanted to see how things wrapped up in the end. The narrator reminded me of Grace Grant (Beautiful Bastard series), so I enjoyed her although her Italian accent grated on my nerves at times. The characters were probably the most interesting, however the author should've developed the plot in such a way that would've used such interesting characters in a better way. For this lack of plot development, I was left with lukewarm feelings overall. Now that I feel like I've completely trashed this book--not my intention really--I feel like I should admit that I would probably purchase another Jennifer Probst book but it would have to come highly recommended with off the charts star ratings!

Fun, but others were better
I really have enjoyed the last books of the Marriage Series. But this one, just didn't see to have the same charisma, or chemistry as the others. I found my mind wandering during different scenes. Plain to say, this book just did not hold my interest the way the Marriage Bargain or the Marriage Mistake did! While it was fun to see where all the other characters ended up- I won't be reading this one again. Excellent narration though!

Wonderful
Any additional comments?
I loved this series. This book impressed me a lot. I prefer the first one and this one the best. The author made the characters very realistic like they are actual real people you could meet at any time. The story was great to follow along. The only negative is that I wish there was more. I would to liked to know what became of all the characters throughout the series relationships. This was an awesome love story!

Another great romance.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I enjoyed it very much overall. However I do agree with another review that it was very predictable.
What other book might you compare The Marriage Merger to and why?
I have come to like romance novels much more with reading the marriage series.
What about Madeleine Maby’s performance did you like?
I would say so so. She has become very predictable. Not as good as the ones before.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I though she did a great performance. It's clear why she was chosen for the majority of the marriage series books.
