Boring.
What would have made Marriage of Inconvenience/Stand-In Wife better?
It was so predictable, and kept saying the same thing over and over and over.
What was most disappointing about Debbie Macomber’s story?
I love Debbie Macomber's books, but these books fell short. I wanted more substance.
Which character – as performed by Lisa Zimmerman – was your favorite?

Corny book
This is the first review I’ve ever left. I only purchase this book because I thought it would lead into her sequel. This is the one of the most ridiculous love stories I’ve ever listened too! The storyline was OK, but the writing and ridiculous comments and feelings, it was a wasted credit.
I should’ve returned it for a full credit.

Save your credit.
I get it. Macomber fans probably really liked this one. I thought it was awful and had the worst narration ever! Macomber books are tame and rarely have any meat to them, but this one, with its horrible narration made it hard to get through. I skipped through the last 10 chapters and will be returning it. Seriously, lots of better stories out there.
