Summary

Everything the light touches is their kingdom.

When a lion cub named Simba is born, his father, King Mufasa, introduces him to the beautiful Pride Lands he will one day rule.

But when Mufasa is killed unexpectedly, young Simba blames himself. Unable to face his family, he runs away, leaving the Pride Lands under the rule of his evil uncle, Scar. Years later, the young prince must make a choice. Will he reclaim his homeland or turn his back on the kingdom in its darkest hour?

Amazing but

I think it’s a good book but it’s not my favourite because it’s a bit short and wen a caricature is feeing a emotion normally I kind of feel it too but I didn’t get much emotion but all the same I like it 😊

Forever my favourite movie!

Hearing the passages about the relationship with Simba and Mufassa throughout the book still makes me get a knot in my stomach thinking of my own Father who passed away. That scene of Mufassa’s death I always ball my eyes out.

The book provided some additional details which was nice but overall was just the film in book form but still is a good representation of the film.

I do wish the Narrator would have put a bit more effort into the voices, came across very dry and dull but still enjoyed it

😎👍🏼

this story is great because it gets your imagination working from the start. I must say, I prefer this story to the film because you learn more in words and understanding, only to what the film shows in picture. 🥰
