Summary

Brothers Jonathan and Roger Maguire each have an obsession. For Jonathan it is his girlfriend, Harriet. For Roger it is the elaborate universe he has constructed in a shed, populated by millions of tiny insects.

But when their lives are abruptly shattered by a sudden and violent death, Jonathan is drawn into a cat-and-mouse game with the police. Does Roger know more than he is letting on?

Critic reviews

"Only rarely do a gripping psychological crime story and a literary writer's insight and masterful style coincide. But The Insect Farm has that distinction." (Jeffrey Deaver)
"The opening few pages of The Insect Farm so grabbed me that I couldn't stop reading. This is one of the most original, surprising, and even shocking suspense thrillers that I've come across in a long time." (David Morrell)

Thought provoking and addictive!

A sensitive and compelling read with an extraordinary and yet disturbingly believable twist. I am left writing the next part in my imagination!
