I don’t really read poetry but…

I really enjoyed listening to this. It makes you think about moments it can be hard to find words for.

Dark, honest and funny.

I’m not someone who reads a lot of poetry but I greatly enjoyed this.
The poems are funny intimate and performed excellently.

The humour offsets the themes, which would otherwise be very depressing - the trials of learning to be alive while navigating mental illness and relationships.

Genuine

I loved this book I found out about this because I think Beth May is amazing in Dungeon & Daddies and really relatable as a person for me. Listening to this made me more sure I want a physical copy to hold and make my own and this has inspired me to write poetry again.

If you ever read this I found your writing to really resonate with my own experiences and the way you describe yours is full of so much raw honest emotion and I just want to say thank you for sharing this book with the world. It’ll be one I cherish.

Delightfully,
Joy

Beautiful truth

This made me want to read poetry again, which I haven’t in a long time. Simply beautiful, sad, real. Highly recommended
