His best one yet. Dark, twisted, honourable. Vividly brings this era alive. Wish there were more.

Excellent

While still good, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. The story wasn't as engaging. I'd still recommend it, it wasn't bad by any means, just not as good.
The narrator does an excellent job. The only thing to fault is that the Irish accent sometimes sounds more like a parody.

Not as good as the others

I've loved all of S. G Maclean 's books that I've read so far and this was so good. I'd come to feel so much affection for the characters and even Damien Seeker started to make me chuckle. Very sad at where this book leaves us and look forward to the new one. (although it doesn't seem to promise any fun for Seeker). A brilliantly series and love the narrator of the later books.

Loved it

A great plot, set in a different country to previous books. Always keeps you wanting more. Very well narrated too.

I would thoroughly recommended this book to anyone who is keen on Scottish history. Shona McLean just gets better and better.

Really enjoyed this series

Seeker in Bruges is a different but equally effective Cromwellian instrument. Turbulent times drawn so brilliantly by the author and narrated so wonderfully by Jonathan Keeble.

A departure from the norm

I will miss Damien Seeker! I would love a sequel but maybe best to leave it here for everyone to imagine their own.
