Superior stuff
Like Many of you I’m sure, I always research books before I buy them so I’m usually fairly confident I’m going to like them and therefore leave a positive review.
Sometimes though, one or two stand out.
This is one such title.
In the same way as calling major Tom, it’s so naturally written and relatable it makes you smile throughout.
The voice work by David Thorpe however is truly on another level!! The life he brings to each character is absolutely incredible and enhances an already terrific story to something exceptional.

The best narration so far
What a great idea, to combine students who need accommodation with elderly residents in a nursing home which needs to make more money. I didn't really connect with the main character but I really liked the story and all the other characters and they were believably brought to life by the superb narration. This was the first time I bought a book with a male reader and it was really good, couldn't fault it. He managed the accents and characters beautifully.
