Summary
When Marcus Hadley’s father remarries an actress after his mother’s death, he leaves home bitter. Years later, when his father and stepmother are killed tragically, he must return to fulfill his duties as the new Earl. He wants to make amends for his absence to the daughter left from the actress’ first marriage.
To his surprise, he discovers a beautiful and unique young woman, who immediately excites his interest with her joie de vivre. Anna, on the other hand, fears the return of the angry young man who hated her mother.
