it's all-round amazing story

If you're reading this, then let me tell you this is the story you've been waiting for a story you'll be able to sink your teeth in multiple times and take knowledge from it's an inspiring story and an incredible adventure, very cleverly written by an incredible author. Be warned however when you've finished this Novel you'll have what feels like an endless search for something that will satisfy you in the same way.
It's incredibly worth it though I promise you that. Happy Reading 😊

A great story, and excellent narration

I read this book when it was first published, and still have my hardback copy. I've wanted to read it again and buying this audiobook meant I could sort of do that on my drive into work. I've enjoyed the story again so much, and found it as clever and original as I first did. When I read the book I was as impressed in those days by Derrida and Heidegger as the protagonist of The End of Mr Y is. I'm over that phase, but this novel for me achieves two aims: to entertain me; and to teach me. Fabulous narration and performance too. 5*

twists and turns of the mind

I don't like the main character because she is unnecessary debased. But I do understand that the person has to be very human and a little flawed for the story. other than that this is an awesome explore into the thinking and courses of our development of thinking. I like the questions it asks and the mix of the theory with science and religious studies. Excellent

Terrible Narrative

I read this book in 2018, Its a story that stays with you weeks after finishing it. I loved it so much I decided to purchase on Audible. A mistake, as the narrator can not verbally differentiate between characters voice tones, its read in a rushed way.
The story is filled with magical, velvety secrets, dry humour, yet this narrator misses all of these cues. My advice would be to purchase the actual book and read it yourself. You won't regret it. I purchased mine from a charity book store.

My absolute favourite book- terrible narrator

This is my favourite book. I could read and enjoy it once a year, however I can’t listen to this audiobook as the narrators voice grates. She is monotone and doesn’t convey anything. It really ruins it.

wow, the depth of philosophical thinking is awsome

I listened to this book randomly, never having heard of the author. it is amazing. one of the many things I love about scifi, which this is very subtally, is the freedom it gives the author to explore mind experiments and philosophical concepts. making them accessible and understandable to everyone.

I have been introduced to new philosophers who I have never heard of and will be looking up.
and I clcertainly will be exploring more of this ladies work

amazing, awsome and profound. with humour and romance combined.
