About this listen
A young American actress arrives in London hoping to learn her identity, just as Sherlock Holmes is closing in on a master criminal. Their worlds collide, and not even Holmes could have foreseen the impact!
This audiobook is the prequel to The Sherlock Holmes and Lucy James Mystery series. It takes place three days before the opening of The Last Moriarty.

As I received this book and the first one in the series I will keep an open mind and give the next one a listen.
Especially since on their own both narrators are excellent.

The only criticism I have, also applies to the other books in the series that I have listened to, and that is the use of 'Americanisms', such as the repeated use of 'blocks' to denote distance, whilst it is understandable for Lucy to use these terms, she was raised in America, it isn't acceptable for Watson or Holmes to use them.
The narration is very well done and very pleasing to listen to.
Enjoyable prequel
