PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS
it might seem like this book is following the Bible which is one and only Word of God but it is not and here is the main point why i think it is wrong. again, this is my opinion and you have every right to disagree, however what I'm about to say is actually in the Bible so either this book is wrong, or the Bible is, it's up to you to decide. This book tells you that God will NOT judge you which is contradictory to what the Bible says. God is Rightful Judge and everyone will be judged according to His law. The other thing is that, it never mentions that Jesus is the one that made you perfect in God's eyes like the Bible does. it actually says the contrary. We have to understand that we are by no means perfect, in fact we are all sinners before God and we all deserve by his law to go to hell. however, God so loved the world that he gave His Only Begotten Son to make us clean from our sins and the ONLY way for us to be perfect again in God's eyes is to accept Jesus, His Son as our Lord and Savior. I know this book seems really nice and kind with great message but do not be deceived. We are not perfect. We are all guilty and deserve to be punished. However someone took that punishment for us and the only thing we have to do is accept that. We could never repay God for our deeds, but Jesus did. and whoever is telling you that you do not need Jesus to be perfect and clean is lying to you and deceiving you and we all know who is the father of all lies. The only reason it says that there is no hell and that you get another chance in life is because this so called god that said all this wants you to do whatever you want because apparently there is no right or wrong, and then if you want try living again? guys that's not what the Bible says. This is clearly meant to deceive you into thinking you can sin your whole life and God will be okay with it? No he won't. And i promise you, what will happen if you believe in this is that you will keep living in sin, and if you don't accept Jesus as your saviour, this so called god from this book will take your soul to hell that he said doesn't exist. Do not be deceived. Bible warns us that false prophet will come. Don't listen to his voice. Pick up the Word of God, the Bible and see for yourself. God bless.

Such an amazing book
I was t sure what I'd think about this book when I started, having heard positive feedback from a few podcasts, but it is the most though provoking and interesting book I have ever read. So many questions I have thought about have been answered in this book almost like the author was reading my mind. Can thoroughly recommend this book to anyone it is well worth the listen!!

Interesting book.
I believe that this is not a Christian book but rather a new age book. It is interesting to listen to but I find a lot of what is said is just plain incorrect. Like fear is the opposite of love. Not the absence of love. Also the descripton of God is not what He says He is in the Bible.

The Bible is not an authourative source?
I was really enjoying the book until he said "The Bible is not a authoritive source"
That rings alarm bells, The Bible is the Word of God.... but I will finish the book anyway.

This book states that reincarnation is real.
It also states that Hitler is in heaven, Jesus is a sinner. we are all God's and that there is also a goddess. It states that to love you must focus on the self above others, that there are no objective truths and that there is no hell. I don't know which 'God' he was talking to but I think it probably begins S...and ends in a tin.

poor quality recording
The book is good, but the recording is irritating beyond belief. I'm glad to get through the 26 hours without throwing my phone away. Really disliked the male/female interchangeable God-voice, sometimes even changing mid sentence, so you never knew whether you were coming or going. choose one voice and stick with it please. the recording additionally was poor, somehow not loud enough at max volume in the car, when all other books are fine.. Disappointing and irritating.

Titled Wrong
The better and more accurate title would be a "Complete Conversations with A God". This book is not about a conversation with God in the sense that it is the God of the Christian Bible - but what the author would like you to believe. As you get further into the book the author begins to talk about his conversation contradicting the bible in a sinful nature (it's ok to please yourself). I made it through books I and II to see if it would change and it does not. This is about some other God so don't get the idea you are going down a path to be closer to the one God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit - you aren't. You are merely listening to a supernatural conversation with some entity and the author. God would not tell you there is not 10 commandments or contradict his own words throughout by aligning with sinful behavior and condoning it. He wants you to believe reincarnation is real and we all come back many times in many lives some sinful and all ok - but no eternal life in heaven. This is more in line with Hindu and other eastern religions than Chirstian beliefs. This is a message about making the bible fit the world, rather than living to a kingdom mindset and adjusting your behavior to honor and serve the true king of kings. One is a glory filed journey the other is making you feel good in the flesh which is not God's way.

4th Time Reading this Series in 20 years
Loved this series immensely since the first time I read it back in 1996 when I was 19. This series has been so influential in my spiritual growth that I have read the series 4 times now. I don’t have a lot of free time anymore to read books, but I do have time to listen to audible books while I’m doing other things like household chores or yard work. Or enjoying a meditative afternoon out in nature.
So glad this series is on audible! The 4th book in this series, Awaken the Species, along with Friendship with God, and Communion with God we’re also really good books for spiritual awakening and insights.
If one is deeply entrenched and committed to Bible oriented Christian teachings and believes that the Bible’s original message and books were never changed, altered, or omitted from the Bible we have today when the Pope Constantine of Rome put together the books of the Bible at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD... then this book and some of its teachings may be a little difficult to accept. In that case, I would encourage one to take the messages they can hear because they are ones that come in Love and resonate with your heart... the place where I believe our soul speaks to us on matters... and set aside anything that may not resonate with you at this time. As we gather more understandings, insights, and teachings over the course of our lives, we tend to often develop more refined views of things and that which may have once perplexed us makes more sense when we can view it from a different lens.
I wish all of humanity a joyful and peace filled journey towards their personal spiritual evolution and growth ❤️

One Word - Outstanding
This absolutely puts a new twist on the concepts of God, our existence and why we are. This book truly needs to be approached with an open mind and heart. Many questions and ideas are answered with challenging results. I highly recommend any of Neale Donald Walsh's books. Truly uplifting and inspirational.

Half truths are lies
Aweful. Partial truths. Do not be deceived. If you are not a strong Christian this will be very confusing for you to listen to. The bible is the living word of God and a lot of this book contradicts it. Pray and seek the truth on your own. Do not be led astray. Be blessed

Be careful
While initially I found this book and the concepts within it interesting, much of the content contradicts the written word of the Holy Bible. I stopped listening once I realized these concepts didn't resonate with my spirit and the truth that lives within me. I hope this is helpful.

The male narrator's tone is too angry for the book
While Edward Asner has a nice, deep voice, his tone is not appropriate as the voice of God. He sounds angry, sarcastic and arrogant. The lady's voice is quite soothing on the other hand but sadly, Ed Asner narrates most of the book. Those who think of God as an angry and vengeful God may actually like his tone, for me it's terrible. It's a disservice to this book. I can't get past it.

Everything you need to know is here
I've listened to so many books as I've spiritually evolved over the last few years. I tried so hard to read A Course in Miracles. When I found it impossible to read, I bought it on Audible. Still... I couldn't get through it. I was forcing myself and it was worthless. These three books answered all of my questions and filled in all of the gray areas. These are the last words I need to read/listen to. I listened to book three a second time.
