Profound, Great Job

Profound, nourishing and rich content, delivery and material. The tone and renditions are great, well delivered and insightful. The presence of the readers in the moment, carries you along the scriptural stories. God bless the readers for a thoughtful job well done. It required attention, resolution and deliberation and this was present in the volume of content.

Darth Vader reads the NT how can you beat that ?

James Earl Jones reading is as you would expect . However the narrator of the OT is also very listenable. Both read with sincerity .

Great that the Bible has been audibled

Shame the chapters haven't been titled. You can't go to a specific book of the Bible in any easy way. Shame when such great narrators have been used.

Best book, ever!

The greatest story ever told . I enjoyed the old testament very much. The new testament read a little fast but just as enjoyable

Not the Bible

I purchased The Bible but when downloaded I only received the New Testament, not the old. Very disappointed.

Would It Hurt To Have Named Browsable Chapters?

The Bible is what it is. But this vehicle lets it down.

I selected this as I wanted to listen to Earl Jones narrating it.

But I also want to be able to select a specific portion of the Bible.

Instead, this is like a marathon start to finish without a break. 1,200 chapters numbered sequentially. Not even chapter names. The lazy chapterisation on many audible books has long been a bug bear with me. But a tome of this size takes the chaos to a whole new level.
