Exciting start of a brand-new series by a contemporary romance fan favorite. After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford has decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now. Unlike Nora, former Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient John Lawson is a modern-day man, usually 100% focused on the present.

Another fantastic book.
I truly love listening to Julianne's stories as they warm my heart and leave me feeling fulfilled. I look forward to each story in "The Color of Heaven Series" so Julianne just keep writing and I will keep listening through audible when they are available or just reading when they aren't available on audible.
WOW! I just have to add to my first review of book 5 in "The Color of Heaven" series. Please read this series in order for the best possible enjoyment and fulfillment. I accidentally read this book out of order and writing this first review didn't let you all know just how fantastic Julianne Madlean's series actually is. Books 3, 4, and 5 are all tied together, and book 6 will be very important to this grouping. I hope to listen to this entire series, maybe even more than once.

One of those book that enriches your life and makes you glad to be alive
The story is written in layers of the characters lives that build upon each other and unfold into a beautifully well thought out ending that I couldn’t of guessed, but left me glad I listened all the way through. Great book and narration.

Thought provoking
Another beautiful story by the very tallented Julianne MacLean with a superb narration by Jennifer O'Donnell in the audiobook.
This story has just the right amount of every ingredient that will make a book exciting, interesting, thought provoking and enjoyable.
Needless to say, I laughed and I cried, got angry and then elated, but was never bored and I am happy to recommend this book or the audiobook to readers who enjoy a good paranormal mystery with all the twists and turns that keep one glued to the story.
