Improving your writing and verbal skills

Many of us have heard about the 30 million word gap before. This is the finding that kids grow up in the wealthy family hear triple more words in their early year of development compared to the welfare class, resulting in slower educational development among the lower class family. Though the validity of this research has been debated, we all can't deny that the more words we know the better writing and verbal skills we can acquire. This book is not only great for preparing your kids for spelling bees but also learning new vocabulary to improve communication skills.

My daughters have LOVED listening to this! It's given them the extra confidence boost they needed with their spelling. With 800 words, I particularly enjoyed that each word was used within a sentence. The narration is great, interactive and easy to follow a long! It's a big 5 STARS from our family! We can't wait for the next one :)

An Excellent Quiz For Kids

My younger daughter absolutely loved this. The narration is very clear and gives your child just enough time to spell the word back. If the look on my daughter's face is anything to go by, I think children will love learning to spell with this audiobook.

800 Words!

This was a great audio book to quiz my kids on their spelling. I’ve noticed that as my kids do most of their work on the computer these days, they rely far too heavily on the spellchecker and lazily don’t make an effort to learn the correct spelling of words. The variety of words and varying levels of complexity will be helpful to teach, train, and/or review kids’ knowledge. The sentences using the spelling words further teach kids on the meaning of the word if they are unfamiliar with them. Fantastic audio book, highly recommend!

Really neat!

Fun and quite entertaining! Love playing this with my cousins. They're really into spelling bees so I thought this would be great for them and it was a hit. Long enough where it can create hours of fun! Definitely recommend

Excellent spelling guide for smart kids

Great interactive audiobook! The kids love to turn this into a competition whenever they feel a little bored or on edge. Since we've had no summer in the UK yet, this has come in really handy on those rainy windy days when the garden is about as inviting as a mudpit.
And with 800 words the book lasts really long! We haven't run out of words yet and the kids have played quite a few times already. Excellent audiobook!

Great practice for spelling

This audiobook is great for any child who wants to improve their spelling, whether they are a competitive speller or not. The 800 words range from easy to hard but are a challenge for the best or struggling speller. This is better than flashcards as if forces the speller to just use their imagination when viewing the word in their head, just like in the real competition. Great learning tool!

Brilliantly Interactive

This is a thoroughly entertaining book that has made learning words and spelling fun for the kids. The quiz concept and, of course, Spelling Bee, had us all completely engaged (and quite competitive!). Great narration, brilliantly interactive!
