About this listen
Ah, Nyil, with its magic, its monsters, and its petty gods. A divine spat leaves French medic Viv stranded in the middle of an arcane disaster zone crawling with undead horrors. Thankfully, there are strange allies to be found, not least the mysterious interface that helps humans survive in this merciless world.
Viv will have to progress fast to survive this calamity and find civilisation. She will also need a bit of luck. Unless, of course, she becomes the calamity herself. After all, luck is such a fickle thing.

intriguing story
never had a bad production from soundbooth and this is there again with great cast showing off this brilliant story, after read this before the humour and stuff are hit spot on by the cast.
the story is intriguing, the world building is a bit here and there but that's not a bad thing as it's done in a great flow sith the story. I can't wait for the rest of this story and even more so after hearing the cast portray it.
not very much stats stuff if u worry about that.
keep up the good work

A series with lots of potential!
I really enjoyed this first book. Thenmain character and her companions come across well and provide a good story, developing Viv while not being predictable.
I was unsure when I heard the first chapter but this just sets the wider background of why Viv is where she is and the story gets much better after.
Performances (as always) are great from SBT and Laurie Catherine Winkel does an excellent job.

The Golemn Dragged!!!
You will get the title of my review if the listen to this which i reccomend. This was a great introduction to what seems to be a enjoyable gamelit.
As well as the standards you expect in most of these types of book i also found a few things i wasn't expecting so much which surprised me. Overall i reccomend this shorter less intense book to those that arent wanting some huge complicated quest but a more light hearted approach that still has a few more gritty buts to keep you entertained.

Fantastic Start
Dark magic, a witch, a golem and a dragon - well, if that is not a great combination then I don’t know what is. The story is witty, interesting and funny. I throughly enjoyed every second of it.
On top of it the narration was fantastic. SBT is truly synonymous with extraordinary production quality.
My only “complaint" is that the book itself is pretty short, but other than that I can’t recommend it enough :)

A Worthy Investment
Very well written and exceptionally well performed, this first installment of Bob leaves me waiting for more while searching, near in vain, for a novel to tide me over. Arthurian squees were slightly less adorable that what rang in my head during my reading, but drakonic examples are likely difficult to come by for actors to study.

Great Listen
The combination of Soundbooth's quality, and the fantastically vivid world of Calmaitous Bob are just so good.
Narration is emotional, on point, and drags you in to the world.
Story's a very nice spin on the world transmigration genre, sold by the mix of wonder at magical, and the fear, terror, and anger at getting your life ripped away.
The characters are very distinct and memorable. You feel that they're their own people with their own egos, qualities, and flaws.
Absolutely amazing. 10/10. Do recomend.
