I loved this - nothing new there then
love Lawrence Block his writing is second to none...
words flow out of him in such a musical stream....
I love the 'Bernard' stories 💓 💕 I'm old to discover them & I'm eating my way through them....before the Reaper comes from my rotten soul

Wisecracking dialogue, splendid plot.
