Misleading Title. Not what it says on the cover.
Do not come here looking for an eclectic mix of essays from the cutting edge of science, space exploration, nature and health that one had come to expect each year from The Best American series. This year's collection is dominated by essays on climate change and activism to the exclusion of much else. Having said that, some of the articles were interesting and highlights some urgent climate themes facing us today. Perhaps the more appropriate title would have been "The All-American writing on Climate Change".
