A good standard zombie novel if you can't get enough. The characters are real and for that it makes a nice change of pace but it just feels like something is lacking from the over all style. A fee more main characters surprise dying may have helped

I absolutely loved this book, it's such a fresh story about the apocalypse, the way the story is wrote I had no trouble visualising the characters and the settings. A few shockers in the story too which you don't expect. if you like zombie & apocalypse stories I highly recommend this book and series.

OK - not as good as aftermath and just sort of ends - setting you up to buy book 2 I think - but worth a read.

Probably one of the best outbreak scenarios I've encountered in a long time. Basically a mixture of human stupidity, greed and negligence. Definitely plan on continuing with the series

Furley run of the mill zombie book hopefully will improve with book 2 will definitely keep going just to see where the story goes

I'm a big fan of the zombie genre and with the latest series of 'The Walking Dead' being so boring I'm glad someone recommended this book. The story really draws you in and the characters mean that you care what happens. I was disappointed when it ended and I'm glad there are more in the series, I just hope there as good.

I had heard so many great things about this series and I was not disappointed. I became heavily invested with the characters, many were just your average person trying to make it through a terrible situation. There is a moment when I believed something bad would befall one of the groups and then everything suddenly changed, huge sigh of relief! the narrator was amazing and each characters voice was easily identifiable. just loved this book so much. Please give this series a go.
