Summary

On Christmas Eve night years ago, a F-16 departed a Canadian AFB bound for McConnell AFB in Kansas, a flight of around 1,300 nautical miles. It was supposed to be a routine mission for the pilot of the Viper (F-16). He had been delayed on his departure, due to a mechanical issue with his aircraft and was anxious to get home and spend Christmas with his wife and daughter.

As he flew home high above the clouds and in a star-studded night, he never realized that this flight, what was supposed to be an easy cross country, would radically redefine and change the course of his entire life. When dying seemed to be the only possible outcome for this young fighter pilot on a flight gone wrong fate, stepped in to show him that his past didn't have to define his future.
