Summary

The ultimate hustle is to move freely between the street and corporate worlds, to find your flow and never stay locked in the same position. This is a manifesto for how to operate in the twenty-first century, where everything has been turned on its head. Building on the runaway success of Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power (almost five million copies sold), the 'modern Machiavelli' teams up with rapper 50 Cent to show how the power game of success can be played to your advantage.

Drawing on the lore of gangsters, hustlers, and hip-hop artists, as well as 50 Cent's business and artistic dealings, the authors present the 'Laws of 50', revealing how to become a master strategist and supreme realist. Success comes from seeking an advantage in each and every encounter, and The 50th Law offers indispensable advice on how to win in business—and in life.

Lessons on being fearless

Really loved these insights shared by Robert Greene and 50 Cent. Fabulous collaboration and flow between the two. Most of the chapters summarise with strategies for adopting fearlessness - really like watching a movie of 50 Cents and learning the rationale/plans to his success. I’d be very surprised if you found this banal/boring. One to listen to again and again. Highly recommended.

Disguised perfection, a bizar summary Greens Books

A bizar good summary of all that Greene wrote until now, and all related to a modern dat artist and business man of whom we all know to little.

Fascinating perspective

A really interesting listen; reflecting on how so many of us embrace comfort over self actualisation.

Value insights pitched with memorable historic stories

A solid book with lots of valuable insights mixed with useful quotes and stories to help communicate the chapters.

Listening in the audiobook format, I have to admit I did struggle with the narration, which I felt was very flat and monotone, leading to me regularly losing concentration.

a bit repetitive

I found the book a bit repetitive.
I often thought I had skipped back a chapter as the opening paragraphs of each chapter seem to be the same.
it had the makings of a good book but unfortunately as they kept repeating key moments in 50 cents life over and over again it felt a bit fractured as I'd his contribution was extremely limited to the tiny tidbits given.
