About this listen
Katie Perkins lives a simple life. She takes care of her son, works hard, and tries not to worry about the man-shaped hole in her life. That is, until she wins a fantastic luxury holiday. Throwing caution to the wind, Katie lets down her hair, and the holiday mood takes over.
Enter Jackson Quinn, a handsome doctor who is no stranger to the good life.
Katie has no experience of riches, and with only her bus fare home in her pocket, she decides there’s no harm in a few white lies. Filthy rich? Check. Size ten? Check. Olympic gymnast who can complete a Rubik’s cube in under 30 seconds? Check. After all, it’s not like she’s ever going to see Doctor Quinn again.
Follow Katie’s hilarious journey as she learns that sometimes those little white lies really can come back and bite you on the butt.
This stand-alone romantic comedy has a happy ending, no cliff-hanger, and can also be enjoyed as part of The Power of Ten series.
Please note: It is best suited for listeners over the age of 18 due to sexual themes and mature content.

Great addition to the series
It’s a comedy of errors when Katie meets Jackson while on a trip but decides to, uh, slightly exaggerate all parts of her life (hence the title). When Jackson turns up in her town serendipitously, Katie has to figure out how to keep him from finding out how much she lied. Katie’s mental process is hilarious but also funny is how her friends “help” her by lying for her, even though she doesn’t want them to. The whole town is very loyal, if slightly crazy (in a perfect sort of way) and way too funny. Another great book in the series and a fun way to spend a few hours, as we laugh our way through to Katie and Jackson’s HEA.
I requested and received the audiobook from the author and I borrowed the ebook from KU. The narrator, Kim Bretton, is awesome in how she represents the slightly crazy character of the different people in this story. This is the third book in the series and she’s the narrator of all the stories and she just gets better.

Beautiful Little Story
What a lovely little story, when I say "Little Story" I am not minimalising it.
It really was a fun, heartwarming tale of Love, Fun, Sex and Emotion. The Sex is not gratuitous or overpowering, and does not form the basis of the story, its a love story so Sex will happen. The Characters are likeable and it is very enjoyable. Kim Bretton does Her usual excellent job of narration. I listened over two nights, I didn't want to turn it off. Some people will say its too light but that would be "Book Snobbery". I was entertained, had fun and to Me that counts for an awful lot. Lovely little book.

I loved it
10 Lies is the 3rd book in the Power of Ten series and I absolutely loved it. This comedy of errors had me laughing non-stop but it was also heart-warming and at times emotional. Katie and Jackson had intense chemistry and their story will keep you invested as they were both relatable and very likable. There was an extended cast of secondary characters who all provided balance and support to the story and I loved seeing the characters from the previous books make an appearance. This was an excellent addition to this series and I enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend it to all lovers of romantic comedies.
I listened to the audible version of this novel. It was narrated by Kim Bretton who did a fantastic job portraying these characters and projecting their emotion and passions. I loved her voice and it was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.

Laugh Until It Hurts!!
This book is so amazing. I laughed so hard and I was feeling second-hand embarrassment for Katie at times. I love that the characters are loveable and relatable. Also, love that we get to see old characters for passed books, as well as new characters and the narration just brings it all to life. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves a good laugh and romance. Emily James is fast becoming a favorite author of mine.
