About this listen
Surprise your friends! Astonish your family! With Pimsleur, you’ll be speaking and understanding like a native in no time. 30 minutes a day is all it takes. Swahili Phase 1, Units 6-10 build on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Swahili. Swahili, or Kiswahili, is the most widely-spoken African language, and is used throughout East Africa. It is recognized as an official national language in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Pimsleur's Swahili teaches Standard Swahili as spoken in and around Nairobi, Kenya. This new Swahili 30-unit course replaces our original Compact Swahili 10-unit course with new and expanded vocabulary, scenarios, grammar and structures.

Best Language Course EVER...!
If you could sum up Swahili Phase 1, Unit 06-10 in three words, what would they be?
Usefull, Exciting, Helpfull
What did you like best about this story?
This is the best, it teaches you how to speak swahili. It really helps you to pronouce those "tricky" words. The narators are great, This audiobook is really Good must buy, Allthough this is Kenyan Swahili. If you want to learn Tanzanian Swahili you just need to check which Swahili it is.
What does Pimsleur bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
No, Like I said it tells you how to pronounce things. It also makes it easier to remember by repeating them so you can keep the words "fresh in your mind".
