enjoyed
I enjoyed the narration of Marie Smith
Pepper is down on her luck desperate to find a way to make ends meet signs up to become an escort. She has had a very hard up bringing . At her first party she meets Dmitri Strife who is a famous movie star. Dmitri is drawn Pepper adores her but does not want her tainted but the escort life. He books her each night but not for sex, he is looking for a more intimate connection.

STRIFE IN NAME STRIFE IN LIFE
STRIFE to me is one of the best of Sky Corgan's pieces, so not just having read it as when it was first released as a serial, then I re-read it when it became a stand alone & now just listened to this fantastic book between Rock/movie Star Dmitri & poor desperate movie/health visitor wannabe Pepper, who see's that the only way out of her situation is to become an escort & this is how these 2 meet & we see what happens between these two fantastic characters 💕💞💕

Intriguing
This is an intriguing and very easy to listen to story about a poor struggling girl who meets a rich and famous man. They fall in love but can they make it work? The dual narration is beautifully done.

Too drawn out but an ok read.
It was hard to warm up to this book, even after listening up to chapter 31. There is no way I could read this in parts, I would loose interest. Since the whole story is in one book and I was curious to see what will happen with Pepper and Dmitri.
The story is really drawn out but it was interesting enough for me to finish it. The narration is good so that is a plus.
