About this listen
A consummate insider as the girlfriend of Lindsey Buckingham, Fleetwood Mac singer and guitarist, Carol Ann Harris leads fans into the very heart of the band's storms between 1976 and 1984. From interactions between the band and other stars - Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, and Dennis Wilson - to the chaotic animosity between band members, this memoir combines the sensational account of some of the world's most famous musicians with a thrilling love story. The parties, fights, drug use, shenanigans, and sex lives of Fleetwood Mac are presented in intimate detail.
With the exception of one brief interview, Carol Ann Harris has never before spoken about her time with Fleetwood Mac.

Such a great insight
I too have listened to it more than once. As the band is so full of interest not only on the level of their amazing talent but on a personal level too. Such an honest admirable account from Carol.
Great shame to here of LB behaviour. But it doesn’t surprise me. You often here that many talented Artists in all fields are so obsessed and intense with their work that they have to kick out in another way. Not saying LB behaviour was acceptable. A very recommendable read.

Very interesting read
Great read and introspective but spoilt by the awful awful narration - would recommend but be prepared to be irritated.

Fantastic book. The good bad and the downright ugly of dating someone in a famous band. Sadly loads of women have experienced the same of these guys.

Brave honesty for fans of Fleetwood Mac
I’m sad that LB has abusive bad energy attached to his life. To attack a woman makes him a little lost boy in my eyes.
I enjoyed being let into the inner circle of the band despite this being from Carol’s perspective - I’m going to get other audible books about the band …
Overriding admiration for Carol for sharing her story and walking away - my father was abusive to my mother (and other women in his life) so I really felt for Carol while listening to this.
Not all the book is about domestic abuse… most of it was scintillating and fascinating. Very honest and entertaining.
Thank you for sharing.

What a Story
spoiled only by Ms Robins voice which was very whiney . I suggest she steer away from trying out accents as she has no talent in this area. Typically her Brit accent was often more Irish or Austailian. Laughable and annoying. She often detracted from the story.
The author has has a sad and lonely life with a violent, egotistical and dangerous man. May she find happiness forever away from him and may LB remain single. Therefore leaving women safe. His kind of bullying never stops. Leopards never change their spots.

How desperate the author must have been for the "good life" if she really was subjected to such physical and mental abuse.
Fleetwood Mac is one of the greatest bands of our time. Stories about them will always have an audience. This woman must have been desperate to write this book. Not surprising that Audible made it available for free.

Vapid, entitled, egotistical and cringeworthy.
What WOULD they have done without her... Oh, yeah. Everything the same.
Read like a 15 year old soap opera actor too. It is not worth your time on this earth. Learn a new language, take up walking, watch paint dry. Your time will be better spent.
