A guide to stop gambling
I started investing in stocks last year - nothing major, just dipping my feet in the proverbial pond. One of the things that has kept me from going all in is the fact that it felt like I was gambling. I mean, I'd research different stock options, but I still didn't feel like I knew enough. This book has shown me a gap in my knowledge that I didn't realize I had and then filled it. I understand now that it's not just about knowing when to sell; there is a psychology to investing. Thanks to this book, my investments now support my financial goals. I feel empowered.

Build your confidence and make a move
Seeing a book geared toward the everyday person who may know nothing about investing is awesome. Everyone is looking for ways to make their hard-earned dollar go further and last longer. No one wants to work until their 65 and hopefully be in good enough health to enjoy the world by then. Having a book like this to build up your confidence and give you the exact steps needed to start investing is a godsend. I loved that there was a PDF attached to this audiobook because having the visuals to help tie in what the author was speaking about was good for me as I am a visual person.
Chapter 4 for technical analysis was my absolute favorite as I am analytical and love reviewing data and learning what kind of story the data can tell me. The author does a great job of keeping it simple so that the information is easy to absorb. Then, Chapter 6 teaches you how to understand the market and the trends to make money instead of losing money. Then Chapter 8 is specific to knowing when to sell. Now that you understand how to read the market know when to sell.
Great job by this author by taking an overcomplicated topic and making it simple to understand and easy steps to follow.

Extremely helpful!
I am new to stock trading and was looking for a book that was going to be easy to follow and understand. This book did not disappoint, and I loved the author's tone. Everything was explained, from the different types of stocks to a stockbroker job and how to create a diverse stock portfolio. I learned so much within the first few chapters that I will be listening to this audiobook again. The narrator also had a great voice which is always a bonus in any audiobook!

Amazing
I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook. This book seems to be a complete guide to understanding the stock market. It was very informative, insightful and easy to follow. Very relevant content and useful to everyone. I wish I had come across this book earlier, as I have had multiple losses with my stock investment in the past. I am still learning by trials and errors but having listened to this book, I am now much more knowledgeable and confident in this journey. The chapters I found most useful were "The Psychology of Thinking', and "How to Evaluate a Company's Financials'. The author's background and experience add more value to its content. Overall, this book is an excellent resource for anyone who is interested in stock investing. Highly recommend.
