Status Quo is the first book in a four part space-opera series called the Elect Saga. It is set in a distant part of the galaxy filled with pirates, bounty hunters, traders, explorers, and strange aliens. The stories are inspired by the space-trading and combat simulation games of the 1980s and 1990s.

i enjoyed it very much. I've scored the performance 4 Stars simply because i reckon the voice talent can and will be improved in the future. But no complaints really.

Enjoyable story. A page turner for the ears.

The story is good, a little heavy on the references at times perhaps. The narration is generally good, occasionally some of the emotional utterances felt a bit flat, but that might also have to do with sci-fi replacement swearing sometimes feeling a little awkward.

Rebecca attempts an American-sounding accent for a newscaster character at one point, her accent is not bad, but British pronunciation sneaks in, especially on the word "flare", so that's something to work on.

In general I thought both narrators did a good job and it was a fun book.
