About this listen
‘Horror from the Deep’: On holiday on Earth, Charlie finds himself on the trail of a very mysterious ghost. A giant three-eyed octopus is terrorising two ghosts living on a pirate shipwreck. Can Charlie and Lewis discover the true identity of the tentacled beast before they come to a sticky end?
'Revenge of the Stink Monster': It’s exam time at Spook School, and Charlie and Lewis must solve a baffling mystery on Earth - in just 24 hours. A hotel is being plagued by terrible smells and peculiar scuttling noises, and soon Charlie and Lewis are face to face with the strangest monster yet...
©2010 Pete Johnson (P)2014 Audible, IncNeedless to say, my boys (aged 5 & 7) don't find him a problem. They love the idea for a school for spooks and the over-cocky ghostly members. Why be scared of anything if you're already dead? The monsters are genuinely nasty enough and this would be a good Halloween treat, but not scary enough to keep anyone awake at night.
There are some nice messages about looking after your friends, and helping people in there too, just to keep the parents happy.
Shouty narration with tingly mild peril
