Good Book!!!

I read a great deal and constantly have too much to read, so I have gone through a lot of speed reading stuff--videos, books, software, you name it. And I kept getting frustrated because it wasn't working like it was supposed to.

Will definitely practice the techniques written !!

Reading fast while maintaining good comprehension has always been a challenge for me. I love how Nathan first addresses with utmost clarity the specifics of the problem in lacking the ability to read fast. I have to admit all the three problems occur to me most of the time. As I went through the reading and non-reading techniques, I learned so much. Will definitely practice the techniques written in this book.

Good BooK...

A very useful book. It has put speed reading into perspective, in particular the emphasis on comprehension and methods to improves this.

Nice Book!!!

Enjoyable text by someone who evidently spent years in the field of speed reading and talks with great interest and more importantly logic about the art and science of speed reading. He has wonderful passages to test speed from the classics and talks in detail about reading for comprehension using the amazing ability of the brain to conceptualize.Recommend it...

Great book !!!

Although the reading exercises were challenging to read, it forced me to attempt to understand the writer’s point of view and to think more abstract.

Speed comprehension, not speed reading !!!

Amazing book. Reading IS comprehension.Speed comprehension, not speed reading. This book probably could have been much shorter than it is, but the technique is pretty solid.Highly recommend it to all...

Best speed reading book I have read !!!

This book changed my view about reading. Before I just dived in mindlessly thinking that reading faster = better reading, but now I learned to read conceptually. It took practice but the more I do the easier it get. This book also includes many good tips about reading like how to pay more attention and having a goal while reading.

I enjoyed it and I like the new idea !!!

This book probably could have been much shorter than it is, but the technique is pretty solid and I am seeing the benefits reading for comprehension already.

Good teachings overall.

I liked the focus on comprehension and visualising what is read as opposed to blindly trying to cram as much words as possible into the mind. Exercises were interesting due to various writing styles that forced you to really focus and visualize the ideas rather than just looking at text. Will take a bit of practice but worth it.
