Summary
Elizabeth's power grows stronger by the day, and the clouds over Captive's Sound grow darker. And soon a terrible flood will drown everything and everyone in its path.
In order to save her family, her friends, and her Steadfast, Mateo, Nadia swore herself to the One Beneath. Her only chance to learn how to defeat Him, and Elizabeth, is to pretend to be a loyal student of dark magic - but to do so, she must abandon Mateo and the world she knows. If Nadia is overcome by the temptations of this new power, the girl she was might disappear forever.
As Captive's Sound collapses into chaos, Verlaine struggles with her desire for Asa - a demon sworn to serve the One Beneath and yet the only one who truly cares for her. Their love goes against the mysterious laws of the demonic realm, but it might also be their salvation.
The battle lines are drawn, but which side will everyone fall on? Surprising alliances are made and true love is tested in the action-packed conclusion to the breathtaking Spellcaster series.

Where does Sorceress rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Sorceress is easily one of my favorites in my audiobooks library!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Asa! He was dark and "evil," but still so human and easy to relate to and honest. I loved his personality and humor.
What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I love that it seems like the characters have so much more personality than what I would have given them.
