Enjoyable light cosy mystery series
This book and the following books and short stories are enjoyable.
They give you enough background to flesh out the main characters without being bogged down in detail.
I really enjoyed listening to them all ( bar the first as not available on Audible sadly). They are great for the times you want to enjoy a book without having to mentally work at listening ( like say Charles Dickens books).
The trio makes a slightly different trio of sleuths than are the normal - yes Aggie is the main sleuth but the others help in their own way.
If you want a series to listen to as you relax or if you are doing something that needs something boring that does not need your full attention these books are perfect as if you miss anything easy to rewind.
Perfect books for chilling out.

Something’s Fishy
We get to see how Aggie met our penny pincher Roger in this book and I enjoyed it so much! Such a fun listen with a few mysteries to be solved all at the same time.

Nothing fishy about this fun series
I enjoy Michelle Ann Hollstein’s Aggie Underhill books. This is the 2nd book and first doesn’t seem to be available. The author introduces us to Roger, Betty’s long lost cousin as Aggie goes house shopping for her daughter. Meanwhile Roger’s $200K fish gets kidnapped, a woman is stalked and held hostage and an actor is almost murdered. Aggie has hunches about the case and solves the mysteries. Great read and great performance by Trish Elliott who narrated the audiobook.

enjoyable
Betty is too much!! An aging wonton looking for husband # 5!!! This plays out like a comedy of errors, but most of the cast has good intentions. Humor and entertainment. I enjoyed it. I previously listened and reviewed this but somehow my review was deleted so I'm trying again. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Something's Fishy
Aggie Underhill and her friend, Betty, have traveled from England to visit Betty's cousin, Roger, in Palm Springs. Roger, an interior designer, has recently purchased an extremely expensive fish and has big plans to use the fish to promote his business. However, the fish is kidnapped, a local actress is missing and Aggie can't resist a good mystery.
If you love quirky characters, light-hearted mysteries and great fun, this book (and all the others in the series) are perfect! Just the thing for a beach read or as an audiobook to listen to as you do your mundane chores or commute.
The narrator, Patricia Elliott, does a great job and her voices for the different characters adds a lot to the listener's enjoyment. I was given the chance to listen to the Audible version of this book by the author, but the opinions in this review are entirely my own.

Fun Story!!
This is the first Aggie Underhill book and I loved it! Aggie and her friend fly from the UK to California so Betty can meet her cousin, Roger, and so Aggie can see her daughter & grandson. When they arrived, Roger had just purchased a 'lucky' fish for $200,000 (his life savings). Then the fish gets stolen! Does the fish survive? Does Roger get it back? How does Aggie fit into all of this?? Read the book (or listen...which I highly recommend!)
I listened to the audiobook version of this and Trish Elliott seemed to BE Aggie through and through. Can't wait to listen to more and see what kind of shenanigans Aggie and the group get into.
