Someone killed your daughter. Someone you know...

Your daughter isn't answering your calls.

Best Listen!

I really enjoyed this book and it's one of my best ever listens. The characters are so real, kindly, flawed, spiteful, troubled, and Sarah Durham's brilliant narration brought them to life making them convincing and believable. I got so involved I got really angry sometimes , or felt moved or sympathetic. It was interesting was how each person justified their actions, making excuses for outrageous behaviours, trying to convince others, and us the listeners, that what they did was morally acceptable, making us take sides.
I love a good mystery and this is one, but it's not run of the mill. The 'cops' in this one take quite a small part. I will look for more by Erin Kinsley.
I have to say again that the narration by Sarah Durham is outstanding and makes the book. It's such a wide cast of characters and she finds a voice for every one. An actor usually only takes on one voice per performance and it's a great skill to be able to take on so many, moving effortlessly from one to another.
More from Erin and Sarah please!

An excellent enjoyable listen

I was really surprised by the ending! I thought it was heart warming in places, despite the narrative. Highly recommemd

Fabulous

Quietly interesting story with so many twists and turns. Explanation of every character meant you felt part of the group … a silent bystander

Excellent Narrator

The story is enjoyable enough - well written and unexpectedly thoughtful for a “thriller”. A gentle book. But the narrator is the real star. She voices every single character, male and female, young and old, and is brilliant. She gives every character a unique voice - such a talent.

"Someone you know", Erin Kinsley

The story was ok, not more than that. I had expected more, the story didn't grip me. The plot was slow developing and there was no real tension. The story was drawn out. The narration was excellent.
