The perfect holiday read!
This is one of those books just made for reading on holiday! It’s one of Harper’s steamier reads and who doesn’t love a steam age-gap romance?!

An odd but compelling listen
Well 20 minutes into listening, I thought I was going to have to give up as the narrator reminded me of Susie Blake reading the news on Victoria Wood. Emotionless, stuffy and no difference between characters.
I’m glad I persisted because it was actually quite erotic and the narrator weirdly made it work. Not a lot of story but oddly compelling if you like a bit of filth.

Strange Narrator......
This is a very English age gap 'Harper Bliss' story, with the addition of a very 'strange narration style by Carmen Rose' who appears on other HB audios ! I listened to this whilst it was still in the Plus Catalogue so I had nothing to lose. My advice is listen to the sample provided in case you can't get past the narrator, if you can it's a good story !

Not a great narrator choice, sorry Carmen Rose!
I can only describe the narration as mechanically melodic. No charisma behind the words. The story was ok - however the character develoment could have been better. There were missed opportunities too with the storyline. I recommend listening to something else.

Poor
This was probably my least favourite of all the lesbian books I’ve listened too! An unlikely story and I really don’t like the narrator Carmen Rose, the accent was so irritating, who speaks like this?unless your aristocracy!Too any Non British person who may listen to this book, this is not how the majority of the UK speaks.

Wonderful.
This was my second listen of this and it was as good as the first. A lovely tale obout two women who fall in love but they must put themselves first now because, after all, the age gap is just a number.

Ok
Normally love Harper Bliss books but this one just wasn’t for me. Maybe I just couldn’t relate to the whole big age gap thing and I didn’t find the characters particularly likeable. The narrator wasn’t for me either. I know they’re British but I feel like all the character voices were very similar apart from Jeff. Managed to get through it but wasn’t overly hooked. Oh well..onto the next!

Engaging
I thought this was fantastic. A believable story and characters. It was well written with an effective use of language. The narration was fabulous.
