Summary

My rule is to never fall in love with a client.

His rule? To never fall in love at all.

I work at an elite matchmaking company. A failing one, to be honest.

We’re near bankruptcy when billionaire Anthony Winter invests.

It’s only business for him - he doesn’t believe in the company’s mission.

No, Anthony tells me true love is a lie and our clients are delusional.

He’s a cynic in a thousand-dollar suit. He’s also a challenge I can't resist.

We make a bet. I have three dates to prove our service works.

Three dates to set him up with the woman he never knew he needed.

He has no intention of finding one. I have no intention of being her.

But as we spend time together, I realise his cynicism is only a façade.

He’s a man hiding a painful secret. A man hurting.

And most definitely a man worthy of true love.

He saved my company.

Will he let me save him in return?

Saved by the Boss is a grumpy-sunshine office romance between a scowling blue-blood billionaire and an optimistic heroine determined to see the best in everyone. Guaranteed happily-ever-after!

This is the second book in the New York Billionaires series but can be listened to as a complete stand-alone!

A very sweet story

I completely enjoyed the story. The character development was excellent, the story was fun to follow, and the characters were really likable. Summer who is the female heroin isn’t all wimpy and mushy instead she’s a strong woman that’s facing challenges of her own. And the male hero is equally strong and likable facing a huge challenge. In the end Olivia tells a great story that makes you laugh out loud and brings tears to your eyes.
Both of the narrators are excellent. To me they brought the story to life.
I strongly recommend this audible book.

Interesting

I thought the storyline was interesting. It wasn’t much in The way of a typical office romance. It was more about the mmc’s struggle with impending blindness. The whole story centered around him coming to terms with that and how he could possibly be in a romance. The romance itself was sweet, but it wasn’t very steamy. It was more lukewarm.

I would not listen to another book with this male narrator. The male narrator rushed through his dialogue in such a way that you couldn’t tell who was talking much of the time, and also when scenes changed. It got confusing at times. The female narrator was excellent however.

An ok story overall but distracting narrator

The narrator, especially Ava, is very distracting as I can clearly hear her swallowing her saliva in between every sentence. The story is ok overall.
