You really need to meet Beckett and Luciana

Just when you thought we were done with the Savage world, Julia has excelled yet again.
We are meeting younger siblings of much loved characters from Julia's Previous Savage series.
I honestly didn't like Beckett when I started reading, he seemed an overbearing ass.
Then Luciana falls into the mix as the girl he has loved since he was thirteen. He promised she would be his and he has waited Five long years for her, keeping all his firsts for her. How could I not love this guy. Luciana doesn't do boyfriends, her home life, an awful reality for her sister and what boys can do, along with her determination to get to college through a hockey scholarship keep her from wanting anything to do with Beckett. She is poor and he comes from a very wealthy family so she is sure he's just playing her but she is at his school now and it's time to get the girl.
As they become closer his overbearing need to protect her threatens to drive a wedge between them, then when his smothering her, leads to near tragedy he determines she is better off without him. Now Luciana has to make him see apart doesn't mean safe or they will never get their HEA.
I love how Julia writes school/college romance without the usual nonsense. The characters are pretty down to earth and relatable. Beckett has come very close to toppling my all time favourite character, Julian, off his pedestal that's how much my opinion of him changed throughout the story.
Julia Wolf seems to be unstoppable. Each time I think that can't be bettered, she proves me wrong. This is a fabulous opening to what is definitely going to be another epic series from this lady Go on listen to it, you know you want to. Honestly the narrators bring our two lovers to a whole new level.
