Summary

Das Feuer von Rügen.

Rügen in den zwanziger Jahren. Das Kurhaus in Binz ist das erste Haus am Platz. Hier steigt die erfolgreiche Krimiautorin Dorothee von Stresow ab. Seit ihre Eltern bei einem Brand auf dem Gut ihrer Familie vor achtzehn Jahren ums Leben kamen, ist Dorothee nicht mehr auf der Insel gewesen. Nun trifft sie auf einem Empfang ihre Freundin Margarethe wieder, die Andeutungen macht, sie wisse etwas über das Feuer von damals. Schon am nächsten Tag wird ein Anschlag auf Dorothee verübt - und ihre Freundin liegt tot in einer Jagdhütte.
