Summary

Rue Sans-Souci... Drôle d'adresse, lorsqu'on est flic, pour trouver dans un appartement d'Oslo le cadavre de la femme avec laquelle on vient de passer la nuit. Surtout si on ne se rappelle rien... Conscient qu'il pourrait devenir le principal suspect, Harry Hole décide d'enquêter secrètement, même s'il est officiellement chargé d'une autre affaire : un hold-up qui a mal tourné lorsque le braqueur a abattu une employée pourtant obéissante. Ses collègues évoquent un simple dérapage, mais Hole conclut à un meurtre. Deux crimes insolites à résoudre pour l'inspecteur norvégien, alors qu'une question le tourmente : et si quelqu'un tentait de le piéger?
