Robert Donat Reads

I may be biased but I have always rated Robert Donat as an actor above Olivier who was a peer of his. His voice is superperb (some might find the RP dated) His understanding of the material and delivery is omho second to none. I can literally see what Donat is reading. Even on the occasions when it is clear he is suffering from asthma he still finds away of reading the text and engaging with the listener -he for with it. If you love poetry, if you’re new to classical poetry I thoroughly recommend
