About this listen
'Sometimes all you want is the novel equivalent of Gilmore Girls . . . Just add a spiced latte' - Stylist
When the leaves fall, magic rises . . .
With found family, a dash of romance and an uplifting message about self-love, Rewitched is a cosy autumnal fantasy that will leave readers spellbound.
Belladonna Blackthorn hasn’t lost her magical spark, but she hasn’t seen it in a while either. Balancing work at her beloved London bookshop, Lunar Books, with handling her toxic boss and concealing her witchcraft from those around her – Belle is burnt out. Perfecting the potential of her magic is the last thing on her mind.
But, when her thirtieth birthday brings a summons from her coven and a trial that tests her worthiness as a witch, Belle risks losing her magic for ever. With the month of October to fix things and signs that dark forces may be working against her, Belle will need all the help she can get – from the women in her life, from an unlikely mentor figure and even from an (infuriating) coven watchman who’s sworn to protect her . . .
Can Belle reignite her spark before it's too late?

Great narrating
The narrator really made the book come to life, and great to have an English accent for the book. Would really recommend to help bring the book alive

A cozy October read
This book was an enjoyable read, perfect for autumnal evenings. It seemed to balance all of the story elements - magic, relationships, challenges and romance without any particular part being “too much”
However I found the northern accents (though authentic) to be grating at times. And I figured out the “twist” ending quite early on in the story which affected my reactions to some of the events (though this may have been intentional)
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves fun fantasy and it really is perfect for a cozy read with something pumpkin spice scented nearby

The most magical, cosy, Autumnal read 🍂✨️
I loved listening to this book! It really is the perfect thing for a dark rainy evening where all you want to do is snuggle on the sofa with your animal familiar and a cup of tea.
I was instantly transported back to the 90s and loved all the references to witches and other things from my childhood, hello pagers and fax machines!
The first half is slow, but I really enjoyed taking the time to get to know Bell and her world before the pace picked up.
The story itself is nothing groundbreaking, and felt a bit unoriginal at times, but that being said, it was so refreshing to have a main character in their late 20s early 30s, and other than their magical disposition, was very 'normal' and really relateable. The story is so easy to digest and such a real comfort read.
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book and will be bringing it out every year when the leaves start to turn 🍂

Perfect for Spooky Season
Such a gorgeous cosy listen, perfect choice of narrator- a voice I recognised from 'Penance'. So great to have a girl my age as the central character with cultural references "bleep test"! taking me back to my own school days. I listened through in one day and will doubtless return to this title along with a handful of other comfort reads.
I belive this is a debut novel and can't wait to see further publications from Lucy Jane Wood
