Summary
“He who does not trust enough will not be trusted.” (Lao Tzu)
The halls of Molave Palace and Annabella Castle have secrets that are meant to stay buried. As the reflective veil is ripped away, Princess Lucille is forced to accept the deception surrounding all that she once believed to be true.
To stay resilient in their reign, Princess Lucille and Prince Roman must decide who is trustworthy and who is ruthless, who is friend and who is foe. Even the complicity of family is questioned as the prince and princess fight for their own survival.
Can they even trust one another?

Exciting Suspencful ride!
Emma and Rupert are the perfect choices to narrate this book. Emma really knows how to deliver the angst and anguish needed to fill her word with great emotion. And Rupert is brilliant in bringing Roman and Oliver to life. Highly recommend.

Twists & Turns
Once again we are back in the Kingdom of Molave. The first book ends with Princess Lucille having realized her husband was not the man she married but also both her and Prince Roman finding out the previous’Prince Roman’ was an imposter too. This book continues with them trying to uncover
the mystery all while falling in love themselves. The story is full of twists and turns and an ending I wasn’t expecting! I have many theories here but not sure I am anywhere close! Can’t wait for next book. I absolutely love Aleatha’s books but I am never a fan of cliffhangers so have to give 4.5.

1 cliffhanger; 2 cliffhanger; really….
This series is so ridiculous and redundant. It is not good enough to want to wait for the next installment of the series.
