Summary

What can make a demon-hunter marry three demons? A bond more powerful than death.

Sharen is a bad-ass. Between her magic and her weapons, she enters demon realms and kills ruthless critters before they can cross over to the human world. She's the leader of her elite team of demon-hunters, and everyone knows to stay out of her way. But when her best friend dies under mysterious circumstances, she's left with nothing but unanswered questions and a broken heart.

And then someone makes a mistake.

When she's accidentally tied to three powerful demons, she expects to send them screaming back to their realm, and then simply move on with her life. What she's not prepared for? That there's more to these three magical beings than she ever imagined, and that they might hold the secrets to her best friend's death.

But in order to discover the truth, she will have to link herself to them in a way she never imagined. And this one choice will change her life forever.

Renegade Hunter is a novella-length reverse harem with three demons and one woman. It is filled with steamy sex scenes, action, and a neat paranormal world. But be warned, this book may leave you wondering why all your dreams can't be filled with sexy demons who know just how to possess a woman. This book includes the serials: Beautiful Mistake, Reckless Magic, and Vengeful Hunter.

really enjoyed the story

story was great and ran smoothly, Narrators voice and intonation were fine and found it a good read/listen bar the cringing each time words were mispronounced. main issue was narrator sayinging things like aks instead of ask and stuff of similar ilk. Otherwise I would have give a complete 5⭐

Wow!!

Sharen is a hunter and a teacher. During a classroom assignment, she meets Alec, Kade, and Ryder. The demons feel a connection with her. They want to share her, but first, they'll have to convince her that they aren't your typical demons. Wonderful book. I enjoyed it.

Great Beginning to the series

I loved the narrator of this book! Ophelia did an amazing job distinguishing between characters, and overall lending a compelling vocal performance. She is really able to catch the life of the characters. This story includes a strong female lead who is learning a lot about herself throughout this book. The men are each compelling strong individuals who lend to the success of the overall storyline. There is a huge jump in time that while makes sense, left me feeling like there wasn’t enough time to write everything that was desired. However, the series (which is going to be completed tomorrow!) hasn’t left me feeling that way as a whole. I loved the next book and hope there is an audiobook to accompany it as well.

great book

Great book! I struggled to get past the reader pronouncing "asked", like "axed". Would have been all 5 stars, if not for that.

I hate to be pedantic

I liked the story. It was well written with enjoyable characters. However the performer jarred me out of the story every time she said axe in stead of ask. Now I realize that sometimes regional dialects and accents are in play but it did not apply in this book.

Great potential but falls short

For how long this book was, it was good. Not much can be achieved in less than 4 hours but LCA did a great job giving us a glimpse of the world she imagines. Sadly, she did not deliver on the details. More information went to minutiae than important details. Again, due to the book's very short time, we were expected to understand and "feel" the deep connection the main characters felt. Well, it didn't happen. Everything felt rushed.
Narrator - love the voice. HATEEEEEEEEEEEE the fact that she couldn't pronounce words with "x". It is not aks. It is 'ask'. I never noticed how many times that word is used in narration until I had to cringe each and every single time she said "aks" or any word that used "x" in it.
Be aware!!! While there is no "cliffhanger", this is definitely 1 of 3 kind of a book. They have mercifully changed the narrator for the next two. But while I did enjoy the story, I don't see how a total of fewer than 12 hours of a story warrants 3 credits or $30+ bucks. It just wasn't that great.
