Summary
Former Protection Command Officer Eve Webb quit her job when a terrorist incident revealed that internal communication failures had caused multiple deaths. Now her former commanding officer and mentor has asked for a favor, and Eve can’t say no. It should be an easy job. All she has to do is guard one female civilian.
Lady Katherine Lovegrove is 40-something-ish in line to the throne and has lived a sheltered life until her father - a high profile judge - upsets the wrong people. She’s not exactly thrilled to need a full-time babysitter, uh, bodyguard, and is even less happy that Eve is an anti-monarchist who despises the upper class.
If Eve had known she’d be protecting royalty, she’d never have taken the job, but as the threat to Lady Katherine’s life draws closer, she’ll do whatever it takes to save her and may just lose her heart in the process.

It was very sweet.
Amanda Radley has become a solid pick when you're looking for a short and sweet romance and this book proves it further... lovely story and great narration.

Excellent.
I loved Protecting the Lady. It's a great novel. Starting out with "I don't need or want protection ." And in we go. Amy Putt did a great job with the narration.

Overall a good story’
This was a very good story, the two MCs at the start did not like each other then at the end of the book they were in love. The narrator was very good. The overall story was very good!

Fun
It's a fun story. Sadly, another one with a bit more tell than show. It has a good plot, but I was never especially sold on the relationship's progress. Liked the characters. Appreciated that there was more 'do it right' than 'cowboy up' in the guarding responses. Also appreciated the lack of a sex scene. It was completely unnecessary to the plot, and I rather enjoy encountering an author who knows to leave it out when it's just a speed bump in the progress of the story telling.

Enjoyable hours of listening!
My favorite variation of bodyguard trope so far! This author brings more emotional depth, wit, and fun to the genre than most. Well done!

Protection is may job.
Lady Katherine Lovegrove. Is the daughter of a high court judge who is presiding over the trail of a crime lord’s daughter. When her life is threatened the Protection Command contacts former Command Protection Officer Eve Webb to be her close protector. Just one problem, Lady Katherine doesn’t want anything to do with a protection team. As the days unfold they very slowly develop a working relationship and more. Great story and narration.

I Really Liked This
I liked how PG the story was sometimes you just want a nice romantic story. This one definitely delivered, nicely done. The narration was great. Nice package deal with the story and narrator.. good stuff.

Another great royal romance
OK so she is not a complete royal only 47th to the throne but it is a great romance, no sex, but a great story. I loved the MC
And narration was a good add.
