Summary
He was the hot popular guy. I was the nerdy girl with a fantasy crush.
All of my childhood, I was invisible to Adam Carlisle. That was fine, because I was too shy, and too smart, to think I had a chance with the most popular guy in school.
Until someone crowned him prom king....
And me queen.
But it was only a cruel joke that ruined my self-esteem and broke my heart.
Ten years later and my friend begs me to attend our school reunion with her. I'm older, wiser, but still a nerd. This event is setting off my anxiety.
I want it to be over.
Then...I see him.
My prom king.
Adam is hotter than ever. But what really gets my attention?
He's staring right at me.
I'm not invisible anymore.
What happens when my fantasy crush becomes reality?
This full-length novel is all about second chances, true love, and a crazy hot alpha realizing that the nerdy girl is his modern day Cinderella. No cheating, lots of device-melting action, and always a happily-ever-after!

Sometimes Painful to Liste, Somerimes Frustrating
I don't usually write a review for a book that I'm giving 3 stars. I was really, really looking forward to reading/hearing this book, but was disappointed by the character growth. Olivia never got a backbone to stand up to Sasha, Ollie's bully and perpetual mean girl who can't believe anyone but her could be Adam's. There are continuity issues (Adam's parents are both doctors yet everyone addresses his father as Mr. Carlisle is a big one for me). Adam also didn't have much growth if he agreed to the fake dating Sasha thing. He knew Sasha was trouble and would make his life miserable, and his father’s need to brow-nose or social climb or not support his own son, made me angry. However, Ollie's passive attitude toward confrontation with Sasha was the most depressing. 10 years have passed and you'd think she would have gotten a backbone and would have been able to stand up to Sasha. it wasn't until the end that you got a glimpse of what she could have been. Why not throw in Sasha's face what Sasha had done to her over the years? THIS WAS EXCRUCIATING TO LISTEN TO IT WAS SOOOOO SLOW.

it was ok
Story was ok... not my favorite at all but decent enough I guess. Half way through and I just wished the characters were better. I wish it was free but it wasn't bad enough to return it. The woman Ollie was far too naive and Adam waited too long to have a backbone!

Okay but not great.
Let me preface this by saying, I usually love Penny Wylder books. However, both the hero and the neurotic heroine were to spineless for me. He couldn’t (or wouldn’t) stand up to his father and neither of them would would stand up to the crazy b!%$@.

Prom King finally gets his Queen
Here is another swoon worthy listen. The storyline kept me rooting for a HEA for our main characters. There was some angst and drama but all recipes for a great romance. The chemistry and attraction was everything. I especially loved the epilogue. he narrators did a great job!

A second chance
Olivia and Adam are given a second chance to get things right ten years later at their High School reunion. Both Olivia and Adam are characters that you want to get their HEA. Loved the narration of both Olivia and Adam I give this book 5 stars.

Definitely listening to this author again
This was exactly the kind of story I like. I get a little tired of extremely strong women who love to fight back over every little thing. There is nothing wrong with being timid and shy and I wish more authors would show that there are many dimensions to a woman’s character. I didn’t Care for her best friend who went m.i.a whenever the Olivia was under attack and no closure to hero relationship with his father but other then that it was perfect .
