Critic reviews

"Marie Louise von Franz's Projection and Re-Collection is thorough in its wide-ranging exploration as both a map and a guide to the recognition and reclaiming of projection. Von Franz skillfully brings theory to life as she builds on and further develops C. G. Jung's research on projection." (Julia Jewett, Jungian analyst)
"The book is stimulating in going to the core of psychotherapeutic work, and invites a response from psychotherapists in general and from Jungian analysts in particular." ( San Francisco Jung Institute Library Journal)

Excellent

I am very grateful that this is available through audible and would be pleased to see more of ML VF's work in audio format.

There is a lot more to what the author means by 'Projection' than I was aware before I read this. Absolutely fascinating observations and theories.

The narrator did a good job. I was unsure at first, but soon found a connection with her voice and was impressed with her pronunciations of different languages.

Von Franz writing vs transcriptions.

If you’ve ever heard a transcript of Von Franz you’ll miss her simplicity and straight talking way. Her writing is far denser and enjoyable in a different way because of it.

Should be one of the first books one reads on Jung

So many synchronicities listening to this. I'm also an admin in a dream interpretation group, and having listened to a number of dreams on the Self and the 4 fold reflective psyche I now see the patterns everywhere. This book will really speed your understanding up and brilliantly clearly written. Von Franz is flawless, able to make Jung's difficult writing perfectly accessible. Franz is hexagram 2 of the I Ching. A brilliant translator of broad proportions.
