About this listen
Prince of Dogs returns listeners to the war-torn kingdoms of Wendar and Varre and the intertwined destinies of Alain, raised in humble surroundings but now the count's heir; Liath, who struggles to unravel the secrets of her past while evading the traps set for her by those seeking the treasure she hides; Sanglant, believed dead by those who could save him but actually a prisoner in the city of Gent; and Fifth Son, who now builds an army to do his father's bidding - or his own!

Excellent book but worst cover I've ever seen
Was the cover designed to put people off listening to this? It's a crying shame since it is such an excellent book.
Why hasn't Hollywood snapped these up yet?
Non-white heroine, check
Fantasy epic, check
Large main cast, check
Completed book series, check
Villains you love to hate, check
Really, do yourselves a favour and listen to these, they're FANTASTIC. The writing is of a high quality that is rare to find these days, the world-building is rich believable, the characters are many and have intricately detailed lives and back stories that make them feel completely real.
It's also extremely well-read. Seriously, these are legitimately worth your time.
