It has a promise but no accompanying PDF material
I was buying this for my daughter who is learning Portuguese (from Portugal). Sadly it won't fit the bill any time soon.
The stories are OK and the speaker has a nice tone. Appropriate for the high intermediate and advanced listener given the words employed.
The stories speech speed is normal speed, which I envisage would be a barrier to many intermediate listeners.
It sorely misses an accompanying PDF with the audio content, and stories translated into English. If one doesn't know a word it could be difficult to look it up since you possibly won't know how its spelt. A PDF would bridge this gap.
It would certainly also help beginners and intermediate listeners following along the text as they hear the proper pronunciation. Whilst a translation would further help not having to refer to a dictionary every 5 minutes.
Ok effort, but lacking. Especially when compared to other short story offerings from other languages.
