What a great story!
I love coming back to Cactus Creek. The stories always run a movie through my mind as all the scenes come into play. This book is packed with characters and different story plots, and they all meld together in a small town way. Focusing on Dan, the minister for this small town, he figures he will never marry. But when he meets the Hannah, his tune changes! She plays the piano beautifully, sings like a bird but is very shy and very loyal to the aunts that have taken her in. These two old women have no intention of letting Hannah get married. They are enjoying being taken care of and with Hannah, they know she will do anything they ask. But Hannah and Dan have a special connection. Abby who we met in a previous story helps them out, as she knows this is the perfect match! Will Dan and Hannah ever get the chance to live happily ever after? At Abby and Preston's house, we have Logan who is pining for his best friend Katie. When she returns from finishing school though, she has changed and brought home her potential husband! How will Logan take it? Seeing Gray and Lettie again, a plot twist that broke my heart and some incredibly danger filled scenes, Janice Cole Hopkins gave me a great story! It's action packed, romantic, frustrating and full of all those small town feels. Another great addition to the series!
Duet narration by Jennifer Groberg and Douglas Birk added to the story, enhancing the realistic feel of the historical scenes. These two are perfect for this genre, and I think their voices are well paired. It is a great series and a fantastic narration.

Christian Historical Romance
What a testimony of waiting for God! Although he wasn't as patient as he could be, he was met with many disheartening situations that would test anyone!
I thought the narration was very good! There were two characters that sounded to similar, if I remember correctly it was the pastor and the mayor, but I really enjoyed everyone else!
