About this listen

When Mrs. Harvey’s death turns out to be murder, DCI Kevin Gregg’s attention is drawn to her granddaughter, Ashley, and her boyfriend, Spencer Penrose. As Kevin digs deeper, he finds this isn’t the first murder that Spencer has been linked to.

Dr. Ethan Quinn was the psychiatrist who assessed him as a fifteen-year-old suspected of killing a classmate. Will his insights into Spencer’s past help Kevin solve the case?

What a great and addictive series

I just love this series, it has been a while and this has tempted me to go back and listen to the back catalogue to refresh my memory. The premise based on the Dr Quinn is different from normal police procedurals or crime stories that I read/listen to. There were so many suspenseful elements and the narration really added to it. I loved the surprises that came out and they worked so well and how the psychiatry was explained.

Great listen

Sorrow

Loved the narration of Grant Love, who brings the characters, mystery to your ears.

Ten years ago Dr Ethan Quinn is asked by his friend DCI Greggs to do an assessment on fifteen year old Spencer Penrose who is has been accused of murder. Once again Spencer’s name is again in a murder case. Both Quinn and Greggs need to find the murder. This book is full of suspense and will have you guessing.
