About this listen
Lady Cristiana Kendal only wanted to feel alive when she welcomed Adam Brighton into her bed. Now, she has a daughter she never plans for him to discover. That is, until the Duke of Danby summons Adam to Yorkshire for the Christmastide holiday, and he appears on her doorstep. Now, she must choose between her desire for him and her determination to protect her child from the rogue who'd never claim her.

Then the idea took root and other authors have written him into their stories and he happily meddles away leaving happy ever afters in his wake for nieces and nephews, his god children and so on.
Enough about him and lets get back to this review.
I loved this novella! The characters of Cristiana and Adam are endearing, the story is a lovely second chances that works out perfectly with a little bit of meddling by the infamous Duke of Danby.
I listened to the audio version and though I had to get used to Anne Damman's accent and some of her pronounciations (which were strange to my ear for a short while) I found her narrations quite acceptable.
The review above is given voluntarily and is based on my own opinions.
Perfect!
