Good follow up

I’ll be reading the next one for sure. The narrator’s voice is a bit annoying for several of the characters, particularly the females.

So much fun

Good sequel. The character are so great! I also like the world. It is rare that I come across a book that can capture my imagination like this.

Brilliant second instalment

Even better than the first one, Heartstrikers has become my favourite urban fantasy series. It's funny and exciting, and the characters are lovable. At one point in an action scene my heart was booming, it really took me in. I'll read this whole series. The narrator is great as well.

Could have been better

The narrator does a great job performing the story. However, the story was much more disappointing and it does,t hold up to the first book in the series.

Stop at first book.

The first book in this series was excellent and as soon as I finished it I bought this one, number two.
It’s all a bit too everything..... to wordy instead of getting on with the story. Too too far fetched, if you can say that about a fantasy.!
Not enough of the story is around the human mage and her magic, the spirit cat or her battles.
I will listen to the end however just to see if I can prove myself wrong in my criticism.
I won’t be getting any of the other books in the series.
