A treasure trove
Kae’s short but challenging insight’s into a performer’s life contains some true insights into something that I suspect we all crave in these Covid controlled days that we find ourselves, connectivity. In Kae’s experiences we can find clues on how we might find connections in our lives. Well worth listening to.

Outstanding
Kae Tempest owns new territory here. Stunningly put together.
If only there were more writings this real.
A tremendous gift to all who care and to all who will be blessed via those who care and don’t yet know the full potential of connection. This book is a game changer; life bringing, enriching, energy driven, force of nature, made with 24carat solid gold focus. This is now my favourite book, ever!

An essential for any creative
I loved this. I find Kae Tempest so inspiring at most of times but this is exceptional and insightful, not to their process but their philosophy of working. I listened to this while painting, and found my own work behind braver and clearer. Only because of the vulnerability in Tempest's writing and delivery challenges me to.

Got the book? Get the audible. It’s brilliant.
I read the book and felt a connection. But felt an even deeper connection listening to Kae Tempest reading it aloud. It’s great to listen to a section and then just let that sink in and live with it for the day the hour the minute. As a writer and performer of spoken word you are not only getting an amazing text but you are also getting a stunning delivery of it. It brings it to life even more than the silent word.
